I was just really put off by the poor renders. But more specifically, the poor shot composition. There are a lot of shots that are presented as 'this is the first person perspective of the protagonist', and the entire shot is just a flat shot of the one person you are talking with, and they can't make eye contact with you. The instances of someone talking 'to you', but actually staring off into the middle distance, is pretty frequent. Combine this with having the same off-putting image for pages and pages worth of dialogue without change, and I ended up walking away from the experience around the big revelation that you own the house. I just didn't care enough about this super contrived narrative to put up with a presentation that so bothered me on a fundamental level.
